MS Access "[Microsoft][ODBC Access Driver]Jet error -1003 returned" 04/26/95 CMR Message Output #: 55367 S4/Borland DB Engine 12-Apr-95 10:52:00 Sb: #-Can't Update Access Rec. Fm: XXXX To: all We cannot use the DbiModifyRecord function to update a record in a MS Access table. The function returns an error message: "[Microsoft][ODBC Access Driver]Jet error -1003 returned". It returns the same error message even if I use the Database Desktop program to update any MS Access record! Does anyone run into this problem? Thanks, XXXX #: 56227 S4/Borland DB Engine 25-Apr-95 12:53:11 Sb: #56005-Can't Update Access Rec. Fm: XXXX To: (Borland) Hi Klaus, I have got some good news for you. Both the index and JetEngine errors for MS Access are not BDE bugs. I have just upgraded my Access ODBC Driver from the April 95 issue of the MSDN Development Platform (ODBC Desktop Database Drivers 2.0 for Windows which includes an updated version of the MS Access 2.0 ODBC driver). Since then, everything works. Thus, I beleive the bugs exist in the original MS Access 2.0 ODBC driver and not from the BDE ODBC socket. Regards, XXXX. ID:CS1025 BEC, CSERVE 4.26.95
