To server's vbroker properties can be persistently set from the Console by selecting the server, right-button->Edit Properties and xxxx. Any of these vbroker properties can be temporarily overridden via the ias command line if passed as -Dvbroker.xxx=somevalue.

These properties are maintained in the file <installdir>/var/servers/<servername>/adm/properties/vbroker.properties.
